The Jammu and Kashmir government is working towards creating new employment opportunities for professionally qualified youth. Minister Sakina Itoo stated that providing better opportunities to deserving and skilled young people remains one of the government’s key priorities.

She noted that limited private sector growth in the region continues to pose employment challenges. In view of this, the government is focusing on recruitment, skill-based opportunities, and exploring new employment avenues for professional graduates.

Emphasis was also laid on encouraging talented students and providing them with the right platform to grow and succeed.
