Prime Minister Narendra Modi said during his Italy visit that terrorism is a serious threat to humanity, and India and Italy share a common understanding on the issue. He stated that responsible democracies not only condemn terrorism but also take concrete steps to disrupt its financial networks.

After talks with Italian PM Giorgia Meloni, PM Modi highlighted growing cooperation between the two nations in defence, trade, technology, clean energy, and culture.

PM Modi also reiterated that India believes dialogue and diplomacy are the only path to resolving global conflicts, including Ukraine and West Asia.

He also met Italian President Sergio Mattarella to discuss expanding India-Italy cooperation.
