Jammu & Kashmir Tops North India in CBSE Class 12 Results

Jammu & Kashmir has delivered an impressive performance in the CBSE Class 12 examinations, securing the top position in North India and ranking 9th across the country. The region recorded an overall pass percentage of 92.47%, with 9,157 students successfully clearing the exam out of 9,903 who appeared.
A total of 126 schools participated, with exams conducted across 56 centers. Girls once again outperformed boys, achieving a pass percentage of 94.39%, compared to 90.88% among boys.
Despite a slight decline from last year’s 94.75% pass rate, Jammu & Kashmir managed to outperform several major states including Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Delhi, and Uttarakhand.
At the national level, the overall pass percentage stood at 85.20%, marking a decrease of 3.19% from the previous year. Girls continued to lead with 88.86% pass rate, while boys recorded 82.13%.
Meanwhile, Ladakh reported a pass percentage of 73.39%, which remains among the lowest in the country.
