MP Jugal Kishore Sharma Reviews Development Schemes at DISHA Meeting in Samba
SAMBA, MAY 14: Member of Parliament Jugal Kishore Sharma chaired a DISHA meeting at the District Administrative Complex, Nandani Hills, Samba, to review the progress of Centrally Sponsored Schemes and other key development programmes in the district.
The meeting was attended by local MLAs, including Surjeet Singh Slathia (Samba), Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal (Ramgarh), and Chander Parkash Ganga (Vijaypur), along with Deputy Commissioner Ayushi Sudan (IAS), senior officials, and committee members.
During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner presented a detailed overview of ongoing projects and achievements under various schemes through a PowerPoint presentation. She also briefed the chair on the status of major development works and responded to queries raised by public representatives.
Discussions covered a wide range of sectors such as rural and urban development, PMGSY roads, Ayushman Bharat, Jal Jeevan Mission, power projects, social welfare schemes, PM-KISAN, and financial inclusion initiatives. It was informed that several projects have been completed, while others are progressing steadily.
MP Jugal Kishore Sharma emphasized the need for dedicated and coordinated efforts by officials to ensure timely completion of targets. He stated that the benefits of government schemes must reach every eligible citizen. He also appreciated the work done by the district administration.
MLAs highlighted local issues and development needs of their constituencies, which were noted by the concerned departments for further action.
The MP expressed satisfaction over the progress made and stressed continued focus on effective implementation for public welfare.
