📊✨ Self-Enumeration: 42,990 People Submit Data on Day One


The self-enumeration process in Jammu & Kashmir, which began on May 17, has received a strong response on the first day, with 42,990 people submitting their data online across all 20 districts.

Kulgam topped the list with 7,944 participants, while Samba recorded the lowest participation with 382 people. Jammu district saw 3,572 online submissions.

In Leh, 272 people filled in their data. The process will continue until May 31.

Officials are encouraging greater participation, especially among youth and working professionals, as part of the awareness drive for the first-ever digital census initiative in the region.

After this phase, a door-to-door enumeration exercise will also be conducted.
