UAE Will Invest ₹47,500 Crore in India, Major Agreements Signed During PM Modi’s Visit

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s short visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has further strengthened strategic ties between the two countries. During the visit, the UAE announced a fresh investment of $5 billion (around ₹47,500 crore) in India.

Several important agreements were signed in the fields of energy, defence, technology, and infrastructure. A key deal was also reached to increase the UAE’s participation in India’s strategic oil reserves to 30 million barrels, which will help strengthen India’s energy security.

Under the investment plan, Emirates NBD Bank will invest $3 billion in India’s RBL Bank, while Abu Dhabi Investment Authority will work with India’s National Infrastructure and Investment Fund on projects worth $1 billion.

During his meeting with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, PM Modi strongly condemned attacks targeting the UAE and said that India fully supports the UAE’s unity and territorial integrity.
