Chinese President Xi Jinping has expressed serious concern over the ongoing Middle East conflict, warning that the world is moving back toward “jungle rule.” During a meeting in Beijing with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Xi said prolonged conflict could severely impact international order and global stability.

Xi warned that unilateral military actions and prolonged wars may weaken international norms and emphasized the urgent need to stop the fighting through diplomatic efforts.
